Financial Education

Financial Education

A large part of what Superior does is educate and promote good financial habits to help prevent members from falling into bad financial situations. Superior provides free educational seminars for members and non-members of all ages. Our biggest initiatives are: Superior Financial Education Day, a day-long session for local high school students held every fall in Lima; and Putnam County Financial Education Day, an event for high school students held each spring in Ottawa. Additionally, credit union representatives frequently speak about financial topics at local schools, nursing homes, and public events.

If you are interested in arranging for a Superior representative to speak at your next event or class, please contact Carrie Calvelage, Training Specialist, at ccalvelage@superiorfcu.com.

In the meantime, please feel free to check out these fine financial education resources!
